Honoring U.S. Military Veterans with Opportunities for Small-Business Ownership

To provide honorably discharged veterans with a business opportunity when they transition to civilian life or seek a career change, and thank them for the sacrifices they and their families made for our country, Tint World® participates in a special program called VetFran that was created in the community of franchising in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans Corporation, and the U.S. Small Business Administration to help qualified veterans acquire franchise businesses by providing financial incentives not otherwise available to other franchise investors.

Eligibility

Any honorably discharged veteran who meets the requirements of CVE, M4L and Tint World®. This program was created to offer business opportunities to veterans who find themselves at the crossroads either when transitioning to civilian life, or seeking a career change. Existing Tint World® franchisees are not eligible for this program.

Financial Incentives

Tint World® offers a one-time 10% discount off the initial franchise fee for qualified veterans. Prospective franchisees may contact Tint World® directly to review the program details. While the program does not offer financing, Tint World® is an SBA Approved which lends itself to Small Business Administration’s Veteran lending programs that can provide financing or assistance in the process by recommending preferred lenders.

Benefit Value

Value approximately $3,000 (Single Store)
Multi-Store Licenses and Area Development Agreements can be of significantly greater benefit value.

VetFran Business Grant Fund

The IFA (Internationa Franchise Association) Educational Foundation and the PepsiCo Foundation have established the VetFran Business Grant Fund. The purpose of the fund is to assist veterans who have been awarded a franchise through the IFA VetFran program by providing financial grants for business development, education, training, and/or technical assistance.
