1-Year Warranty
Most of our products carry a manufacturer’s 1-Year Warranty from the date it is received by the original purchaser or installer, which covers the replacement of defective products, unless otherwise specified. Some products carry an extended warranty (Example: Catalytic Converters 5-Year/50K-Miles). Merchandise covered by a manufacturer’s warranty is sold with the warranty by the manufacturer and extended to the purchaser. Check the manufacturer’s documentation that’s included with the merchandise for more information regarding the manufacturer’s product warranty policy. Other than the applicable manufacturer’s warranties or other terms provided in this warranty policy, there are no warranties, express or implied for any of our products.
Warranty Coverage
Our warranty provides processing the manufacturer’s warranty up to one year by accepting the product and then forwarding it directly to the manufacturer for final approval. All returned items will be inspected for warranty eligibility which is determined by the particular manufacturer’s rules and regulations. We or the manufacturer will replace, repair, or refund the product based on our findings. Products damaged as a result of abuse, misuse, improper repairs or maintenance, improper installation, alteration, or modification will not be covered by the warranty.
The warranty only covers the product(s) replacement unless a replacement cannot be obtained in its place, in which case a full refund will be issued to the original purchaser and payment method used to place the order, excluding all shipping costs both ways and any applicable sales tax. Any refund or an exchange of a defective item will be processed only if it is accompanied by the original sales invoice. All items must be in their original condition and must not be damaged due to incorrect installation. The warranty is limited only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Return shipping charges shall be prepaid by the customer. All shipping or freight charges both ways are the full responsibility of the customer and are not refundable. Warranty replacement will be made after our return center receives and inspects the merchandise. Our liability does not cover lost or stolen packages mailed back by the customer containing the items being claimed under warranty. Because the customer is the shipper, only the customer can file a lost claim with the shipping company, therefore any shipping claim must be coordinated and processed through the shipping company by the customer.
We do not cover any miscellaneous expenses including labor costs for removal and installation of a defective part, materials, lost time or wages, towing, lift, dock or storage fees, legal fees, miscellaneous expenses, or any other costs. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages including without limitation, indirect or special damages from product defects as a result of any products sold or incurred while the item is being inspected or replaced. Under NO circumstances will our liability exceed the amount of the original sale.
Tire and Wheel Coverage
Tires and wheels are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty only and you should contact the manufacturer directly. We will be happy to assist in obtaining fulfillment of a manufacturer’s warranty. Specific tire information is available on each tire product page under the “Warranty” link and in the manufacturer’s documentation that was included with the merchandise. Other than applicable manufacturers’ warranties, there are no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
No adjustments will be made in case of abuse by user, vandalism, or alignment issues. Issues such as road hazards, trued tires, miss-alignment, under or over inflation, vehicle scraping, nail holes, cut punctures, flat spots, etc. are not covered. We specifically disclaim any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose for tires and aftermarket wheels packages.
Warranty Conditions
If the part fails and you want to return it to obtain a warrantee, you must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which we will issue to you upon your request. See Return Policy for required RMA information. We recommend that you consider purchasing an Extended Product Warranty or No-Fault Tire Warranty.
Universal Parts
We offer universal parts that are different than direct fit parts. The main difference is that universal parts are designed to generally fit multiple vehicle applications without an exact fit and direct fit parts are designed with the exact specifications (measurements, alignments) to fit the vehicle with an exact fit. Universal parts allow fewer part numbers, and fit many year, make and model vehicles. However, some minor modifications may need to be done to the part to ensure a proper fit. Most of our products come with detailed, easy-to-follow instructions to provide you information on any modifications or adjustments required for correct installations.
