A: Start by completing and submitting the General Information Form. After it has been received our, senior franchise development specialist will forward it to our franchise president to become familiar with your background, experience and your financial resources to become a Tint World® franchisee. With this general knowledge and understanding of who you are and what your business interests are, we can further discuss our straightforward approval process the details of this opportunity.

A: Having an automotive background is not required, because our franchise system is built on proven principles that have been successfully implemented by people from diverse professional backgrounds and all walks of life.

A: You should have an understanding of business management principles and be involved as an owner-operator in the management of the franchise. Successful franchisees also possess; leadership ability, vision, and a desire for growth.

A: The Tint World® system gives its franchisees the opportunity to be their own boss in an auto styling franchise they own. The Tint World® business gives its franchisees the opportunity to build their business around their personal lives, with little to no outside travel necessary. Because you will be the boss in your own business, you have the opportunity of building equity, which can pave the way for financial freedom.

A: The franchise fee includes securing the right to own and operate a Tint World® franchise center, and the use of our trademark, trade name, expertise, trade secrets, concepts, and business system. It also includes the following:

  1. Training Program; One of the most comprehensive pre-opening training programs in the industry;
  2. The advantage of a truly sophisticated business management, sales and production support system;
  3. Site selection assistance, (lease, site, and renovation assistance);
  4. Store layout and design of signs, fixtures, and equipment, all of which create the Tint World® center;
  5. Grand Opening assistance;
  6. Advertising support;
  7. On-going training and support;
  8. Special Promotions;
  9. Access to a complete distribution system;
  10. And much more…

A: After you’ve been awarded a Tint World® franchise, we will prepare a timeline with you covering from start to finish. Site approval, lease negotiations, renovation, financing, and training are often the primary time-consuming factors. Once your site has been approved and lease negotiations are concluded, the remodeling time for your center typically takes between 60-90 days. We usually scheduled your new owner training after we have secured your lease or purchase of the site location and prior to the opening of your center; this allows you to move right into pre-opening preparations; including the hiring and training of additional staff for your center.

A: Yes. We will assist you in the site selection process by providing current information on sites available in your area and assisting you with any lease negotiations. We must approve the proposed site prior to the development of any site. We also provide you with a Pre-Opening Manual designed to assist you with your site selection and opening process.

A: We analyze information from various sources for traffic count, registered vehicles, population, growth trends, competitive factors, zoning, retail shopping patterns and other appropriate factors. Upon submitting a ("Site Analysis Form"), we shall analyze a location by examining physical layout, proximity to other competitive businesses (if relevant), population density, census data, demographic and income characteristics, proximity of the proposed location to other Tint World® Centers, or any other criteria as set forth in the Franchise Agreement.

A: The range of center sizes varies throughout our network from a single bay to an eight-bay center. With today’s business model our recommendation for new centers is to have an office/showroom area with two to four bays with a total space of 3000 sq. ft. to 5000 sq. ft. However, we will evaluate each market opportunity on a case by case basis to determine the right fit for expected service demands. In many cases, our franchisees lease existing facilities that are remodeled to meet our specification. A member of our Franchise Development Team will assist you in such efforts.

A: Yes. Tint World® franchisees benefit from Unmatched National Purchasing Power and have the advantage of offering the best products at the best prices. Tint World®’s industry’s leading partnership distribution network ensures consistent nationwide distribution delivery of quality brand name products. Some products are proprietary to us and have been specified with our distribution.

A: Tint World® provides all of the marketing materials you will need and is responsible for all National advertising and point-of-purchase materials, etc. Franchise owners are responsible for developing local marketing through a variety of in-store and community-based promotions and activities.

A: Tint World® provides in-house and outsourced advertising agencies to present a consistent message across the chain through a variety of campaign outlets that include creative design, video, radio, direct mail, in-store materials, digital and social media marketing. You will also have access to experienced marketing consultants, artwork and innovative campaigns using a multitude of marketing platforms.

A: Yes. Tint World® offers an option to develop your own "mini market" of franchise locations. A Tint World® Area Developer can be awarded multiple franchise licenses and we'll be there every step of the way as you build each one. This is initially determined by the corporate office, depending on each market area.

A: Franchisees and their designated managers must attend and successfully complete the new owner training program. This begins with a self-study program combined with in-center training designed to help orient you to our systems and to help us understand your individual needs. Tint World® new owner training consists of a three-week course held at our corporate office in Boca Raton, Florida with hands-on and practical everyday experiences. Our team of professionals will provide training in various aspects of managing your Tint World® franchise that will help you become a successful franchisee. We do not charge extra for the training and all materials are provided. Travel expenses, hotel accommodations are your responsibility and is included in your estimated startup cost.

A: Although each franchisee is responsible for hiring, managing, training and employee benefits, Tint World® does provide instructions and assistance that will prepare you to handle this during the new franchisee training program. You will receive information about employment practices, compensation plans and guidance about staffing levels, employee training opportunities and management strategies. Tint World® also provides you with a digital copy of a customizable Employee Manual.

A: Yes. In addition to the Tint World® initial headquarter training you also receive up to 5 days assistance during the initial opening of your center. You will have an experienced member of the Tint World® Operations Team work with you and your staff before, during, and after your center opening. Ongoing training and support is also provided for your continued success.

A: After your General Information Form application has been completed, received and approved, the next step is for you to arrange a Discovery Day tour at Tint World® Franchise Headquarter Offices in Boca Raton, Florida. At your Tint World® Discovery Day, you’ll get a comprehensive tour of a functioning Tint World® center so you can see exactly what it’s like to run a Tint World® franchise. You’ll get a full walk-through of daily operations and procedures and meet the Tint World® support team as well as franchise CEO, Charles J. Bonfiglio.

A: The total estimated initial investment for a leased Tint World® location ranges from $179,500 to $259,500. However, the size, type and amount of franchise centers that you are opening will determine the amount of funding that is needed. Typically, Small Business Administration (SBA) loans require a 30% cash injection.

A: Yes. Tint World® has taken significant steps to ease the process of financing your franchise investment by developing relationships with several approved lenders and leasing companies to offer a simplified application process and quick turnaround time. Tint World® has also been approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and offers the Franchise Registry that will expedite the processing of loans to small business franchisees.

A: The Tint World® 6-Step franchise ownership process gets you on the fast track to business success. The 6-Step process includes the following:

  1. Submit the Tint World® General Information Form to begin the process and receive a short interview with a franchise development representative.
  2. Attend a Tint World® Discovery Day and get a comprehensive walk-through tour of a functioning Tint World® center so you can see exactly what it’s like to run a Tint World® franchise. You’ll also visit Tint World® HQ and meet the support team as well as franchise CEO Charles J. Bonfiglio.
  3. Begin the Tint World® Franchise Licensing Process and paperwork that provides you with guidance and answers to any questions you may have by professional development staff.
  4. Begin the Tint World® Franchise Development Process that provides you with a team that works with you to take care of everything from location selection and development to startup and grand opening.
  5. Attend the Tint World® Training Program that includes extensive classroom and in-store training so you can be confident and prepared to run a successful Tint World® center.
  6. Open your Tint World® Franchise Program provides you with a team that walks you through setup, hiring, operational procedures and host a full-day grand opening event.
