Looking back on my first day working for Tint World in 1999, I never could have imagined we would be where we are today. Over the years, this company has taught me so much about what it’s like to be a part of a growing franchise. About caring deeply for our devoted franchisees, their employees, our corporate staff, and our loyal customers – together making up the lifeblood of this company.
The developing situation regarding COVID-19 has presented many hardships for each of us – yet it is important to remember that we can still press on and move forward. We are working hard behind the scenes to individually assess each of our locations and make any appropriate adjustments and decisions as necessary.
Rest assured that while most of our locations remain open, we continue to follow the recommended practices of the CDC to help do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Our individually owned locations have trained their staff to use protective gloves at all times, sanitize high-touch surfaces inside our stores multiple times daily along with the vehicles they service, provide hand sanitizer inside our showrooms, and practice social distancing when interacting with our customers. Many of our locations also offer contact-free drop-off solutions. Our stores are limiting the amount of customers inside our showrooms at any given time in order to ensure the safety of customers and staff alike. We continue to monitor the data and recommendations from the CDC and WHO and will update our practices as needed.
As a global franchise, we voice our solidarity with other countries all over the world that are being severely impacted. In China, they shout Jiāyóu!, meaning “keep fighting” from their balconies to rally each other’s spirits. In Italy, every conversation ends with Forza!” meaning “be strong” or “persevere”. Whatever your rallying-cry is, shout it out as loud as you can. Push forward.
