For many companies, “operations” starts when a store opens – and not a second before that.
At Tint World®, however, the operations team is involved from the start, helping store owners manage all the steps leading up to opening and also establishing the close relationships that drive the company’s success.
“Franchisees often need our input and assistance as they move through the process of getting a store ready to open,” said Tint World® operations manager Justin Pickels. “The operations team usually gets involved months before the store opens, helping with hiring and other processes that we have expertise in. We’re also building relationships and letting them know what to expect. We want them to know who to call when they have questions or concerns once the store opens.”
Pickels’ wide range of experience in the automotive industry prepared him for his position at Tint World®, which requires knowledge of all facets of the automotive styling and window tinting franchise’s business. Early on, he trained as a mechanic before switching to automotive parts sales. He spent a decade working as an audio manufacturer’s representative before landing at Tint World® in 2021.
“I really enjoyed all the different aspects of my career leading up to this job, and now Tint World® is an outstanding opportunity to put all that experience together,” Pickels said. “It’s been valuable to be able to see from the perspective of retail, wholesale, and manufacturer as I help franchisees really nail down their processes and systems.
