How Can You Make Customers Fall in Love with Your Store?

You’ve got customers coming in the door of your Tint World® franchise. That’s great! Now what?

It’s time to convert your customers from one-time visitors to regulars or even brand cheerleaders. Building your regular customer base is one of the most important things you can do to make your franchise successful.

The key to building regular customers is to put your focus on customer experience. Everything they see, hear, smell or perceive while doing business with you must be top-notch and 100 percent professional. They must be blown away by customer service. Give them a great experience, and they will keep coming back or even recommend you to friends and family.

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, here are a few thoughtful tips for wooing your customers and getting them to fall in love with your store.

  • Curb appeal: Wowing your customers starts before they open your doors. Set your store apart from the competition and make sure your storefront is well-groomed with a clean parking lot, sparkling windows and attractive landscaping.
  • Clean and comfortable. We’ve all had the experience of sitting in a less-than-clean car repair establishment with ripped vinyl seats and an unpleasant smell. The inside of your store should be as clean and attractive as the outside so your customers won’t be in a hurry to leave.
  • A genuine smile. Your well-groomed staff should greet every customer with a hearty “hello” and a smile as soon as they walk in the door. Make that treatment last through every customer interaction. It’s even a good idea to smile when you answer the phone to keep your tone pleasant.
  • Deliver on expectations. If a customer has a negative experience with you, chances are it’s due to unmet expectations. Your goal is to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations every time. Be realistic with your customers about the services or products they purchase, and then go above and beyond with great customer service.
