- Get in on the fun. Summer is all about fun. From barbecues to beach vacations, everyone’s ready to kick back and have a good time. But you can transform your store into a summertime destination by hosting fun events for customers and their families. Consider a cookout, a car show, or even a fun fair with inflatables. Just remember the three F’s. Make it fun. Make it food. And make it free.
- Get on the ‘gram. If you’re not on social media yet, it’s past time you get there. Summer is a great time to start an Instagram account for your store because your customers are busy posting their summer fun pics. Post sharable photos and videos that show your store’s best work and the lifestyle your brand represents.
- Get out and play. So, your customers aren’t coming into the store? Go where your customers are. Visit local festivals and events, hit the lake or the beach, and be sure to take plenty of giveaways, coupons and flyers. Consider holding a prize drawing or having a game for kids to play. Use your imagination!
