Creative marketing, social media and events get more customers in the door
Unlike many many retailers who experience summer sales slumps, the season is a proven winner for Tint World stores.
Here are five ways for Tint World® franchisees to milk even more out of the summer retail season:
- Get your game on. Consider hosting a summertime social media contest. How about a scavenger hunt? A photo contest featuring summer-themed photos. Have regular customers submit photos from their vacation. Your followers can vote on the best photo. This time of year can also provide an opportunity to up your social media game. Make sure your Facebook and other social media pages are up-to-date. Make sure your website is updated.
- Market the moment. Create email blasts with a summer theme or summer product. Market your tint services to cut the summer sun. Market window films as a way for homeowners to save money on cooling costs.
- Host a cookout. Invite your best customers and their families to enjoy a hot dog or burger at your place of business. This might not translate to instant sales, but it will generate goodwill.
- Offer discounts. Consider coupling big-ticket items with lesser-ticket issues, such as “buy a tint job and audio system, get the system installed for free.”
