When Jeff Beauplan was growing up in Haiti, he would meet his father outside their house after work. Jeff would climb into the cab of his dad’s pickup truck and onto his lap, where he’d pretend to steer into the driveway and park.
“My feet couldn’t even reach the pedals,” he said. “But it was something we did every day. I’d also watch and help my dad when he worked on the truck. That’s where my passion for automobiles came from.”
Jeff’s passion for vehicles followed him when he and his family moved to the United States in 2005.
Jeff was 8 at the time. The family struggled financially for several years after their arrival. But his parents were committed to ensuring a bright future for their children. They worked hard to create opportunities and inspired Jeff to follow in their footsteps.
Throughout his childhood and teen years, Jeff continued helping his father maintain the family’s cars and trucks. It was an important bonding ritual for father and son and a way to pass on knowledge and share important values.
That experience even motivated him to study mechanical engineering in college. But he eventually switched to computer science and pursued a career in the technology industry after graduation. Now his success as a software engineer puts him in position to embrace his original passion as co-owner of Tint World Pembroke Pines, serving Broward County and the Fort Lauderdale area.
