For Tint World® HQ Operations Manager Jeremy Doran, a typical day is spent either on the phone or in video chats with franchise owners or sitting in airports waiting to travel to meet with them.
So, when a franchisee gets a win, big or small, and Doran gets to see the smile on a franchisee’s face, his day is made.
Doran joined Tint World® in 2018 after years of working in the auto styling industry. Doran attended Mobile Dynamics installation school in Toronto, ON, Canada, earning a Directors’ Endorsement from Derek Lee. After moving to Jacksonville, Florida, and racking up several industry certifications, he spent the next few years at DOW Electronics and AAMP Global before joining the Tint World® family.
Doran said he enjoys the family-type atmosphere of Tint World®.
“We take care of each other, the franchisees, and their stores, as a team,” he said. Tint World® CEO Charles Bonfiglio and CFO Jeanette Bonfiglio “have assembled a great team and treat us like family. The franchisees love to hear from us and even request to get visits because they know, together, we will help them grow their business and succeed.”
Doran said his most memorable experience with Tint World® was his first day on the job.
“I didn’t go to an office,” he said. “I flew into Atlanta where (Tint World® VP of Store Operations) John Marsh picked me up at the curb and we drove straight to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to visit a store. After two days there we continued to Gulfport, Mississippi, for another store visit. After two days there we drove back to Atlanta and toured the area stores there before catching my flight back home to Tampa.”
Doran said he and Marsh knew immediately this was the job for him.
“I’m going on my fourth year with the company on the operations team, and I have loved every minute of it,” he said.
After a working lifetime spent around cars, Doran said he can still narrow down his ultimate dream car: a 1963 Lincoln Continental convertible.
“Triple black, air ride, Coyote engine swapped,” he said. “I have already built, driven, and sold every other project car and dream ride I ever wanted. This one is the last on my list. Saved the best for last.”
Doran said being able to experience the successes and growth of the franchisees in real-time is the highlight of his work.
“With so many years of retail under my belt, I have a lot of experiences and successful ideas to share to help the franchisees grow their business efficiently and profitably,” he said. “When combined with my additional years of experience working for a major distributor and manufacturer, I can share my knowledge to enable the franchisees to stay at the forefront of the industry and be the best in the business.”
