In his words, Brad Lloyd has “always been a car guy.”
Whether adding a unique flair to his own cars, boats or motorcycles, or watching one of his three daughters perform in quarter-midget racing, Lloyd has consistently found ways to stoke his passion for automobiles.
So, when Lloyd moved on from a longtime corporate career and looked into franchising opportunities, his outside interests led him to a chance that was too good to pass up: Tint World®, a global automotive styling franchise he connected with on multiple levels.
“I quickly realized becoming a Tint World® franchise owner would allow me to use my passion for automobiles and service,” Lloyd said.
He was also enthralled by Tint World® President and CEO Charles Bonfiglio, as well as the rest of the Tint World® headquarters team.
“I loved Charles’ energy and drive,” Lloyd said. “His entrepreneurial spirit was very inviting and made me want to be a part of this organization.”
It’s now been more than a year since Lloyd joined the Tint World® family, and he has consistently knocked down the doors — and put films over them, to boot!
He has also partnered with local flooring and glass companies, as well as MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) contractors, for deals — but he isn’t afraid to branch out into social media marketing via Facebook and Instagram, either.
“I’ve learned a great deal about connecting with an audience through online marketing,” Lloyd said. “You kind of need to tell a story and tell people why they need residential film.”
Lloyd has also been pleased with Tint World®’s openness and flexibility.
“It’s fantastic to be able to have those resources and a corporate team that truly cares and helps me grow,” Lloyd said. “They help me take an idea I have and carry it to the finish line.”
Whether driving or working, Lloyd’s race with Tint World® is just beginning. With early successes in residential and commercial filming, Lloyd is now looking to expand his Tint World® presence into three counties in Pennsylvania.
But he’s moving forward with an eye toward the legacy he hopes to leave, and he isn’t afraid to share advice with other Tint World® franchise owners, either.
“Always trust your gut,” he said. “And take advantage of resources to be successful.”
