Tint World® Spotlight: Michael Glick, Franchise Development Manager

August 26, 2021

Supporting our franchise owners is at the heart of our work at Tint World® HQ. Every member of the team is dedicated to helping our owners succeed. Michael Glick, our franchise development manager, brings his years of experience with some of the biggest automotive brands in the franchise sales industry to the Tint World® team.

Glick was named Franchise Development Manager for Tint World® in May of 2020. As the first point of contact for all prospects, he assists them throughout the process of becoming an owner of a Tint World® Automotive Styling Franchise location.

Glick has worked in franchise development for several years doing business development for recognizable brands like Big O’ Tires, Midas, and Venture X. He has also worked in franchise development for other large franchise companies operating in various retail sectors.

In addition to his franchise development experience, Glick also has a background in marketing, having worked for a large marketing agency in Philadelphia.

Glick has only been in his role for a little over a year, but he already feels like he’s home.

“It’s very family-oriented,” he said. “It’s a big company that doesn’t feel like a big company. It doesn’t feel corporate. Charles and Jeanette (Bonfiglio) have created such a welcoming environment. They even bring their dog in the office and he runs around most of the time to say hi to all of us.”

Beginning a new job during the pandemic brought its own set of challenges, but Glick has been impressed with the way Tint World® and its franchise owners have weathered the unusual circumstances of the past year.

“Our business has thrived throughout the pandemic,” Glick said. “We haven’t been stagnant. I got hired in May, and it was just, you know, off to the races.”

One of Glick’s favorite things about his job is helping new auto styling franchise owners achieve their goal of opening their own businesses.

“Helping people make a smooth transition out of their previous career and helping them get to do something they are passionate about,” Glick said. “That’s very satisfying. It warms my heart to see people do what they’ve always wanted to do.”

For Glick, there’s a moment that he relishes in every franchisee’s process. “Let’s say I talk to someone today. They’re interested in owning an automotive franchise business. I walk them through the process — we have a detailed step-by-step process to bring new owners on board,” he said. “I walk them through this process, and then six months after that initial phone call, I see them down here for new owner training. That’s the moment it becomes real. And there’s nothing like it.”
